* About the Story *

Once upon a time, in a world quite unlike our own, there was an Academy dedicated to the teaching and training of the magical arts. To that academy came two promising students who teamed up and promptly got themselves into incredible amounts of trouble. The Dean of Featherglass had troubles of his own and, seeing a way to kill two birds with one rare magical artefact, as it were, sent all his delinquents on a globe-trotting quest.

They didn't know why the quest was important and they didn't really care. All that mattered was that it would allow them to leave Featherglass with pride and GPAs intact (and without having to retake Magical Safety 101 for the third time).

This is their story.

Mages Errant was written and webpublished serially from August 2002 to April 2004. Archives may contain typographical errors and plot bunnies.
